I will try to get some pictures together for you, for later today or monday night. Also all the information you'll need. Like I said previously the boat handles the larger waves great, ie. LOTO on a saturday, for a 23 foot.

I have owned both, the scarab is a 21 degree deadrise and the hammer is 20 degree. They are great river boats, but here in Texas, especially in lake Conroe on the weekend, you will pee blood after a day in either one! Both of them SUCK in anything over a 1' chop. The H2x is probibly a waste of time too.
Look into a 23' outlaw or a 232 boss if you want a baja, they have a 23 degree dead rise and a deeper hull.

Also check out the 22' powerquest raizor, I never owned one but I heard they are quick and solid boats.

I had an 86 Scarab with a small block and it was just as fast as the Scarab with a standard 330 hp 454. What the small block lacked in horsepower it made up for it with weight loss. The 454 models will plane a bit faster due to more torque. A scarab with a small block will sip gas, at least mine did.
