Wrecked skater - Twin 1000 HP's in NJ

How tragic for those men and their families. Especially three brothers---it's hard to grasp. Not trying to be insensitive here but how long was that Skater? The 36' with that kind of power (900+) is very dangerous. A few years ago out on Lake Michigan between St. Joe and South Haven there was a 36' Skater accident (not sure if it was a barrel roll or didn't negotiate a wave correctly or what) and 2-3 people were killed and the engines I think were only either stock Merc 500HP's, 525SC's or 600SC's. The guy had apparently just bought the boat that year and didn't have much seat time.
Anyway, my prayers go out to the families of these men.

WE RODE IN THE BOAT 2 WEEKS BEFORE THIS ACCIDENT, THE GUYS KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, SO I MIGHT TEND TO LOOK FOR A BROKEN GEAR IN THE DRIVES OR A BLOWN UP MOTOR!!! AND NOT TO DRIVER ERROR AS MUCH AS SOMETHING BREAKING...AND CAUSING THIS HORRIBLE ACCIDENT!
