most p[eople have good thing to say about 1800 runs new. I havn't heard any complaints. You will need to finish them of course and that can add quite a bit to finished engine prices.
So what are you buying?

I have a pair of Bow tie block blower motors, B&M 420 blowers, Cariilo rods etc...
Everything included including seas strainers and oil coolers. The only thing missing are the carbs. It had Holly 750's. Engines dyno'ed @ 700hp @5800rpm. Motors are used. They need to be freshen'd. However consider the price...$7500 for everything.

I have a pair of runsnew 502's with prochargers. They run great. That was until my new "Marine Performance Specialist" blew them up!! I have a friend with a pair of the 540 Attack Dogs in his 38 Formula and he is happy with them too.

Joe...that is a deal ! but i want to just put them in and go boating!!! They would be great "project" motors.
Ken....thanks for reply i think i read youre post about the 502s...How did that come out? did they re-build them?

After repairing the head gasket the owner said he was personally going to sea trial the boat. I guess he didn't have time so he sent his lowest man on the totom pole to run it. Well this idiot did not know that you can't run the exhaust through the drives on a supercharged motor and he melted three pistons in one motor and probably damaged the other, so he decided that it would be best to rebuild both. That was a month ago and still no boat!! I am so tired of other peoples stupidity!

little worried
Otto,
When I heard "36ft big motors crashes in NJ" this AM I got a little worried. If you check your caller ID I called to make sure it wasn't you. Send me a good picture of those motors
