Any kind of water really, it doesn't discriminate So to answer yyour question, yes. That's perfectly feasible.

No, but I sure do in a similar size east coast cat with no pod and a much deeper tunnel and I can tell you for certain a 27/28 west coast "pod" boat will beat the living crap out of you trying to run 40-50 in 'real' 3's!!! Remember, at those speeds there's very little air under the boat and in the case of this boat, not a lot of tunnel under you either. Go out and run 40-50 in a semi-flat bottom sit down boat in real 3 footers and let me know what you think!
