Default how do you get an out of state trailer title if it never had one?

This is the deal

TN does not issue titles on trailers and I have no other supporting documents. How do I register and title this in LA?

Same for Ohio, in IN there is a form that you print off of the BMV web site and have the police come out and fill it in.

Take it to the BMV and they run a check. Not a problem.

Some states use the registration as the title. or, you might be able to use a "Certificate of Origin" that can be provided by the manufacturer.

Same deal when I bought my boat Rafe. I had my bill of sale and the Certificate of Origin, brought them to the DMV and had no issues.

Your Bill of Sale should be all that the DMV needs to apply for a title. Otherwise, get a Lost Title Application.
