I believe Wesseldyke (spelling?) who drives the Jaws race boat hails from West Michigan. I have seen it up here several times going down the freeway.
I believe they have the Sage drives on the non-canopy boat. I could be wrong, and it could be similar boats named the same thing, but I did see one of the Jaws boats with "strange" drives on it before the Sage became public.

The "JAWS" race boat is a 46' Skater. with Sage drives. Mark has raced the first two SBI events, and I believe he is the current Super Boat points leader. The "JAWS" pleasure boat is a 48 Ocean Express, witch he currently has in Florida. Both boats were previously Dennis Kiasers from Ohio.

Yeah it's Dave Wesseldyke who builds the racing engines for the JAWS racing boat. He's also the throttleman for the boat. It is now down in Florida ready for the next race which I guess is in about 2 weeks from now. It did have the (green) Arneson drives on it but now has the Sage #8 drives on it---I was in Dave's shop when the drive mods took place last summer. My boat is now in Dave's shop having the transom/stringer/floor core repairs being done. Dave is flying down on Friday the 14th to Florida for the next race. He's going to try and have my boat repaired before he goes...gosh I hope so!
