Thunder Dan's A.T. is being tested with K.E. 675 and xrs. They are presently dialing her in using different props, 4 and 5 blade. What the speeds are, Dan will have to anwser that, all I know is last week they had 600rpms to go and were into the low 90's, so 3 digits are in the horizon. The final testing and tweeking will be done this weekend.

We are still working on proping the boat out with the right wheels. The boat loves the 5 blades, it make a world of difference in the way the boat handled. I will keep you posted as we try different props.

Oh yeah, I also think the the boat will run very close to 100 mph with the right props. If I had the time I wish I could send it to lake x for a day to dial her in with all different types of set ups.
I am really hoping for 100 mph.

Troutly,
It is a good point, I am not sure if we are dragging a bit much or not? I am not sure, I wonder if adding a nose cone would help to reduce drag if that is the issue. I think we need to first dial in the correct prop then if we are not getting around those 100mph speeds look at the lowers, drive hieght etc...
Our prop test numbers were
91mph all over the rev limiters with plently of throttle left with 30 p labbed bravo ones,
87 mph 32p bravo i at 4900 rpms,
88 mph hydromotive 31p 5 blades, 4500 rpms
I am hoping that Pat can get his hands on 5 blade 28p hydromotives. According to hydro those should be the ticket.
