The other bad part is if the storm hits you guys will end like Florida and be on the banned list where most insurance companies make you have a hurricane plan or do not cover the boat for it.
They will screw you in the end.

My carver is on floating docks in perryville, md. Perryville Yacht Club is the name. 65-100' of water under my boat at low tide. Lots of room here if you need a slip for the weekend. It seems the best solution for situations like this. I believe I'll ride it out on the boat just for kicks.

Pull it! Just pulled my cig this afternoon. My wife's boat (no trailer) got taken to MDG Performance yesterday for a well-timed tune-up Thanks again Dave!!

Take it off the lift. Whats a couple hundred to protect a boat worth tens of thousands.

+1 If you cant get it out, floating docks with nice high guide poles are the very best protection shy of indoor storage.
