One thing I like about the Fountain Lightnings, are that they are a bit of both.

If the guy's not buying a Skater because of insurance prices, I don't think he can swing a new Outerlimits or Statement.
I could be wrong, Just sayin'.

What are you going to use the boat for, and where do you boat ect.? Budget, speed goal, within what years do you want it?

I wouldn't pull the trigger on anything until you check out the staggered 525 EFI cigarette gladiator listed with Brett @ Performance Boat Brokerage. It is owned by OSO member redbud from my understanding and has been well cared for, very beautiful boat and at an attractive price point for what you would get. Never ridden in the specific boat but been in a side by side gladiator and it handled very well as a sit down V. Good luck.

If you don't care about having twins, then go for the Superboat, bad azz boat, and more room in the cockpit then all of these boats talked about.
Loved mine, great fun boat.

They can be built with twin SBCs. I'm assuming since he mentioned the 38ZR that he was looking for a longer boat.

If you ha e never been in a epoxy boat, take one for a ride first.
Not for everyone, I didn't like it, like said before you here every little
ripple of water hitting the boat.

To reach the same speed, might not the epoxy boat with the lesser hp/drive cost less?
