Couldn't agree more!
Lake Cumberland is our home lake and I can honestly say, this is the way the State Dock people roll. Management is high performance boat friendly, owner is a boater focused on providing an environment just like you experienced.
There were 96 boats registered and thousands spectating. Felt the spectator fleet did a much better job of providing room to run this year,a big thank you!
Kudos to you and your team Bill

Those who stayed away because of the weather missed a perfect weekend. Could not have asked for better weather and the party in Harmon and at the Dock was crazy.
It was awesome seeing some of the Poker Run boats come idling through. Those guys put on one hell of a show. Cannot wait to do it again next year.

Went there the following weekend after the poker run several yrs ago, lake was dead and restuarants closed already. What a change from the week before.
I agree, it was a good time. The band at State Dock was off the hook Sat nite. The wife played with the band. She was pumped! We didn't make it to the dock dance floor (big azz house boat lift) till after the band stopped.

I use to go to Cumberland ever year when I was I kid, the last time I've been down was the year before they lowered the water. I ve been trying to get down for the run butbsomething always gets in the way. I've heard it's one of the best and I had a guy up here near Columbus Ohio work on my boat who puts on quite the party at state dock, bill kingery I believe. I'll make it there one year for it, but I agree one of the best lakes in the country.

I shot pixs in 09', hung out with Boatfreak & the Flight Club gang, and had an Awesome Experience. However, I missed last year & this year, due to conflicts already on my schedule. I have already penned the 2012 PR into next years schedule. 3 years is way too long of a gap, especially when it comes to the Lake Cumberland Poker Run.
If anyone has pixs, post em up. Poser' so far is the only one to share pixs.

Yes, Harmon Creek is one of the if not the wildest Party Coves in the country during Poker Run weekend. Some eye candy from another site. Hope they don't mind me sharing, but don't know if they are a member here or not. Good ol' Kentucky Girls!
