My auto turbo motors have lasted longer (tune being correct on both supercharged and turbo). I could feel the harmonics of the supercharger, belt etc in the floor of the car. It just seemed harsh. As for wearing bearings out. I have had issues with the front crank bearing having excess wear due to having to tighten the blower belt so tight to keep from slipping under boost (serpentine belt not cog). I actually had a crank snout break off going down the interstate under full boost one time. My turbo motors (turboed small block fords) were so much smoother in comparison and power delivery was just awesome compared to the supercharges I had ran before. I changed setups and went from twins to a single. While doing so I torn the engine apart to freshen things up after 20k miles and everything seemed great (680hp to the wheels). Virtually no bearing wear like I had experienced from the supercharges.

I'm seriously considering it thanks to sprink. Been doing a lot of research.
Lkqonline.com good place to start. Complete motors 6.0 in te 1000 dollar range. High mileage but a good base point if your interested.

I've been under the impression that heated wire MAFs are a fire hazard and not generally compliant with marine standards. I don't know how risky it actually is though. Any concerns? I see your hatches are pretty well vented.
