I was wondering if we would ever see an Ilmor-Powered FasTech... SWEET!!! This package is going to make a lot of FasTech owners very jealous... I know I am!

Congrats to Ilmor & Formula for partnering up on this one... Knowing the outstanding workmanship and attention to detail that exists with both of these companies, I'm sure it's going to be a winner!

Hopefully the lucky new owner or Formula will post a build thread for this boat with lots of pictures.

95 seems like a very conservative speed estimate. .

Scott Porter of Formula is modest guy and not one to exaggerate. But while he did estimate the 95-mph top end for the Ilmor-equpped 382, he also said they'd seen, "93, 94 mph" with Mercury Racing 700SCi engines, which has been the most popular choice for the model to date.

Thanks Matt, I just thought it would be upper 90's with either the Mercury or Ilmor 700 packages. Guess that model is more of a Mercedes than a Ferrari.
