Thumbs up 308 OB Skater

This might help bidpro.

bidpro, just wondering if the skaters are so much much faster and better, how come they are so slow and un-competitive in OB cat class ?

i've owned a 28 w/twin 300x's and 32B skater w/ triple 300x's the DW is by far a much better boat for outboards and the few with inboards run just as good as compared to anything with matching HP.

your observation about freeboard is a mute point since DW can cut the hull any height just like Skater. a majority of them including mine are relatively a normal height compared to several of the flat deck skaters i've personally been around.

if you want to debate the quality of how the boat is built we can start that discussion too.............

Kap,

Nice boat. I like Cats and OBs make it even better.

Bid,

What's your problem? The guy has a great, new boat. And you muthatruck it?

Please show us what you have. And next time sit on YOUR deck watching the boats go by. Not your buddy's.....which I can only assume is the boat you ride in.

Nah unlike your boats we post cure ours....damn let it go pal you don't know when to quit.

The glove box houses a Smartcraft gauge and Stereo plus room for a lot more stuff. You can even fit the screen cover for the Garmin in the glove box.
