Boat Camping On The Sebastian Islands Next Weekend, 1/28 + 29
Short notice I know but no plans other than this. Weather has been absolutely gorgeous around here and supposed to be nicer yet next weekend.
We plan to launch from the Wabasso ramp late Saturday morning and spend the day playing/exploring. Then we'll pick an island and set up camp and spend the night on the boat.
Many gorgeous uninhabited islands to pick from, all with nice beachs. The picture in my avatar is one of them.
Our favorite has a protected horse shoe shaped, protected harbor w/a narrow sand peninsula connecting it to the next island north.
Should be a hoot. Most of you know all the restaurants and tiki bars along the shore line that are accessible by boat and have great bands and so on so plenty to do.
Just the two us going but anyone else interested is welcome to bring their boat and crew out and hang out. Some of the nicest boating in the area and you'll be five miles from the inlet out to the Atlantic if it's nice.
Let me know if anyone has questions.

Sorry Dean. Next time.
Mark, bought damn time! you at least put your shoes on yet?
All goes well ($$) we will be Keys and Ft.Myers Beach bound for a week next mnth. Just finished installing the new stereo in the boat. CD/MP-3 compatible w/a wireless remote. I can stand in the driveway and turn the stereo on in the boat under the awning 30' away
Have speakers due tomorrow that I'm mounting suction cups on so when backed into the beach I can stick em on top of the motors with them pointed at the beach
My plan is, drag the porta potti to the beach, put it under the beach chair, cooler beside it w/wireless remote in my hand.
I figure I shouldn't have to move for at least two days
