It has a Raylar HO600 with sport tubes...dyno'd ~660 HP.....still searching for the right prop to get it to 5500 RPMs. I also may need to adjust the drive depth as it has a lot of slip right now....18% with the depth @ 3.5" below the bottom. It runs mid 70's now but know it will get to low 80's when it finally gets set up properly.
A friend had one w/a Merc 500 HP (470 HP's) in it and it was running very low 70's and seemed to be dialed very well.
If you have 18% slip I'd hook up w/a good prop guy. A good one is as valuable as a good motor guy.
Guessing at your #'s here but if you're @ 5K X 1.5 gears X 28", the difference between 18% and 8% where it ought to be is 10 MPH's!
At 3 1/2" down I'd think that's easily attainable.
That's staying @ 5K too and not going to your 5500 target.
Very cool. Keep at it and you'll get there.

Nice! Keep us posted. The 25 Outlaw is a great boat with a comfortable cabin and roomy cockpit. Good luck.
I'm repowering my AT with a 530HP/502CI hope to see a decent speed increase.

What did you get from that stand off box? I just bought a Nordic Heat with a similar looking transom. Just curious, thanks-

WOW, what a collection of pictures! These are all perfectly suited for "Portable Boat Lift" if you want to be able to remove your boats from your trailer for working on the trailer or your boat.
