The turbo charged 525 will be a game changer done right. Pretty impressive they can keep the same dimensions. Good for Hardin. Congratulations.

Exactly and some of the guys call them Rotary mufflers, so that solves the noise problem as well.

Turbo's are the future for this 'sport', and have been a long time coming.

Those tubular SS headers are going to crack and trash engines. They don't last on cars and they won't last on boats. To be durable they need to be using cast manifolds... I wouldn't want to be a first adopter of that setup!

Yes Turbo's are the future of the sport! Overall, done correct, etc, turbos are better than superchargers. There is a reason EVERY diesel is a turbo, etc.

Chief has a sweet twin turbo engine that has been out for a while, sad no one noticed turbos till merc used them.

Having "kits" availible is a super smart idea though! Very excited to see and HEAR more!

Our 1979 Sanger drag boat had a gale banks turbo charged engine that we ditched in favor of a blower motor, mostly because we didn't know anything about how to improve it. It has always been favored with the California Vdrive/daycruiser/ski race people.
I wonder how much capacity those turbos have? A nice 540 with turbos would sell very well and like Steve said would be a winner on the noise control lakes.

Very interested to see cost on this kit. Been interested in doing turbos for a long time now, problem has been cost.

Turbos have come a long way in recent years (much like everything else) and coupled with latest EFI makes a killer package thats tuneable to have little turbo "lag". Any lag that is there is good to save your drive

Glad to see companies like Hardin steppin up.
