DAYTONA RACE - Speedchannel
Well, what did you guys think?
I thought the production was great, a little too many commercials but it was still less than last year. Good coverage!
Question: Is each race going to be made up of two segments? F-2 was pretty much ignored, minus a brief recap and there was no SuperCat action at all.

Just finished watching the Daytona race and I was very impressed. The F-1 action was fantastic, I wish Typhoon could have stayed in there. We did get to see some of the P Class action and interviews with some of the racers. The Super Vee was good.
Next week we will see the action of the Cats. I would assume that they will cover F-2 next week since they pretty much left it out this week.
All in all I give it a thumbs up.

I enjoyed it, apparently they are showing the super cats next week. I don't know if they are going to do a show on F2 or not. It seems that the F2 class is the class most of the recreational boaters can relate to. Therin lies one of the problems with offshore racing, there are too many classes to keep up with.

I agree completely. I think the APBA's been "busting their collective ass" for lack of a better term and it sure is paying off and it shows.
The races themselves, being on-site, are fantastic this year. The coverage is much improved, with much more detail. Their websites seems to be more punctual with more information.

Gotta love the new time slot...
I had completely forgot it was going to be on. But as luck would have it, I slept in late, woke up slightly hanging, hit the remote and what do you know, Boat Racing! Got to sleep in late, watch the race, and still made it out on the water before noon! A perfect Saturday!
