It kind of seams like the reason you don't give up on this stuff is because your a little ........ jealous or something. If the boats you like are so great you shouldn't have to jump on a Checkmate thread to be heard.
You could do that in your own threads on your own brand of boat. What are you worried about, that no one would read it?

Love Checkmates and looking forward to seeing the finished boat and hearing performance numbers.
I am always amazed at the number of boaters who have owned Checkmates one time or another, typically early in their boating experience. This model gives opportunity to go back and support a brand many of us feel a connection to.

KellyO, I believe Checkmate has been in business around 50 years now. Pretty good run for a boat company!
