Do you laminate the new structure with glass and resin by clamping in place, and then cover that structure with glass and resin? Thanks for the pics & thread!

Captain Nabbers in Morris IL is the shop that did the transom and bulkhead work,Tom is a good friend of mine,he does like you said, strips out all the old down to the exterior glass, then he builds a new transom outside the boat with a couple layers of a good like 9 or 10 ply marine grade plywood, with all the different layers of glass and resin then he installs it in the boat and glasses it in.pretty neat to watch.I have watched him do this to entire boats that you would never think is worthy but in the end it turns out as good if not better then it came from the factory.

Yep, Nabbers does some intense glasswork! He's repaired tons of offshore boats in our area.

Really cool project guys. I am guessing that this boat is a "Cannon Powerboats" Thunder 32? Built by Ziggy in Illinois?

This has to be expensive, but it looks like very nice work.

I only wish I was in a position to have you do the next one for me!

Great job. It is wonderful to see quality work and great vision come together in a project.

Nabbers does top notch work as stated above. They are seamless repairs made with a marine grade plywood. The transom and Bulkhead repairs are completed, entire boat blocked for a smooth finish!

Thank You,
