Troutly, I might just take you up on that offer.
Either one of two things are goin to happen
My boat will sell and I will order a 32
Or my boat will not sell and I will be installing the hatches they have done on the new 28 cats
Tried to stay out a couple weeks ago NOT
fans worked for better or nothing but I came into port at about 1:30 am. Damn local occifer thought he would check me out as a drinker NOT only water and dew allowed aboard my crafts.
Told him it was just to damn hot and was going to sleep in the truck. He would not let me do that in the launch parking lot???
So I loaded and went home to 73* a/c
Plenty of room in mine to sleep just not enough air movement

For around the same price you can get the ac unit in the Samsonite suitcase. Have you seen it? You throw hose overboard and plug in the suitcase. The suitcase has a real marine ac system inside and puts out over 7000 BTU.
This gives you far more cooling and boat can be moved without having to lug clunker off the hatch.
The suitcase is much more like having the real thing.
If enough buyers come forward, I can try to put together a group purchase at around $800 or maybe less.
These units are in a completely different league that the hatch unit. IT is peculiar why the hatch ones are always for resale. It seems that everyone that bought one wants to get rid of it.
Let me know if anyone wants me to put a factory deal together on the suitcase unit.

Andy,
Being a Boaters World manager for many years in the past I sold those AC's. One huge prob i had was when the customer had it below the water line in there boat, not good. The one you are talking about did put out some air though but it is a pretty good size and might be in the way sitting on the cabin floor where the cruisair is out of the way. But that is of course customer prefrence
People wanting to always get rid of them? I never ever had a compaint about a crusair so i dont know why someone would get rid of it unless they have no more need for it.
And also "$800 or maybe less"? Hopefully way less...........
