Default prop blowout on 92 Outlaw

friend has a 92 24ft outlaw 454 bravo one, running a 14.25x23p 3 blade prop and it blows out on plane going straight, just seems to rev up and not grab and go trying to get on plane, and making a turn tabs down trim down, still blows out. Never encountered a problem like this, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, mitch

remove the prop and check the rubber hub, if that is OK, pull the drive and check the splines on the coupler. Sounds like either stripped out rubber or bad splines on coupler.

Inspected the hub and hub splines no obvious damage to ethier. We going to try a different prop to see if it helps, and maybe the hub is spun and needs replaced
