Default Welcome to OSO...

...this can be a wonderful reference site.

I have not been here long myself, but have discovered there are many people on here who are very informative, patient and knowledgeable about many different topics.

Jump right in and get your feet wet. Sorry bad metaphor!

lol, well your second slip was finding us. This is not the road back to sanity my friend . . . . . in fact it's quite the opposite

we can help with the following:
justifying why you need to fill the boat before paying the rent
how to convince your significant other that blower was on it when you bought the boat
How it actually makes sense to "go bigger"
proper method of skipping family functions for a day on the water (sometimes they catch on when the realize they only see you on rainy days)
Why twins are more economical and practical then a single

welcome to the site . . . . .

Welcome!!

First step is to get some pictures posted. Your not a paying member(yet) so you will need to upload to photobucket or flicker or something and then post links! We all love pictures so......

Congrats on the new boat.
You'll find this site to be a priceless wealth of knowledge on powerboating. Every question I've ever addressed here has come back with quality hands on knowledge answers.
These guys and girls are the greatest!!!
There's also a lot of comedy here too.
Just remember the most important aspects of the sport.
First boat is always an acronym for "bust out another thousand"
Second, remember whatever you put into it your not going to get back.
Third, don't ever kick yourself in the ass for any purchase from fuel to parts no matter what your significant other or best friends tell you.
Finally, powerboating is a priceless sport with a lot of reward in the satisfaction of moving across the water with anywhere from a little bit to a whole lot of speed. But, it does come with a price. Learn how to save money "cause you'll be needing it soon no matter how new or old your boat is".

WELCOME to OSO!!!

See ya,
Kelly
