Renkens were always of questionable build quality. You may actually have a screw that was set too deep or possibly the framing for the floor has dropped and that screw was in it. If you pull the floor you will probably be able to see what it is. A little grinding inside and outside and you'll be all fixed up. Or you could send it to Dave and let him have the fun, hell he may even make it faster

...the importance of the survey that was suggested more than once???
You likely have a core issue which would have been detected with a survey.
The core issue is likely from the intrusion of water and then freezing. This basically causes a mechanical delamination.
If this is the problem, it should not be "patched". It likely needs to be well ground out and layered up. Not really a job for a novice.
There is also a great chance as you get into it, the situation will be more extensive. This could be a $1000 job which a $200 survey would have prevented.

You could also do a temporary repair, just to get your through the summer. Then in the fall tear it apart.

NEW TO HIM !!.... we've all been there or still are![Whistle](/forums/images/smilies/whistle.gif)
WITH THE QUALITY OF RENKEN -THAT LOCATION- LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY TRIED TO GET ON THE TRAILER AT 45d & 45 MPH AND SMACKED THE ROLLER.
HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF YOU TAKING ON WATER,I.E IS THAT CRACK ALL THE WAY THROUGH?
IF ITS AN IMPACT FLEX CRACK IN THE GEL THE WEST SYSTEM OR MARINETEX WILL WORK. ON SCREW TOO-GRIND OFF SCREW/ SHALLOW PIT WITH A DREMEL-FILL&SAND
I FILLED A VERTICAL INSIDE-OUT 3/8 DRILL HOLE RIGHT THROUGH MY CHINE(
DON'T ASK) ITS STILL HOLDIN 10 YRS NOW
