The limited amount of time I got to see the live feed, I believe they were going 92 mph at one point on the south side of Long Island and even stopped for a little while. They must have been seriously cookin' to make up for that.

If the distance is truly 220 miles, then the average speed for 2hr 11min is about 100.76mph. Sound right?

Regardless... 100% badazz. I'd love to see some vid of that.

Race is Sept 22, 2012. The Don Aronow Around Long Island Marathon is 271 miles (Refueling allowed) - per Top Bana in a previous post. and the official entry form has the distance at 271 miles.
