Default Eliminator Daytona

Looking at a 30 and a 33 with twins.
both are older boats 98 to 2002.
Is the 33 faster with the same power as the 30 due to a better CG??
Friend had a smaller cat with twin 454's and it was stern heavy and couldn't get the nose down at speed.
also interested in a 30 Skater with twin I/O.
Still in the research stage - may end up with a 25 single for less $ spent.
But if I can get a 30 ish older boat in good condition over a newer 25 footer for just a little more I would lean toward the 30 ish.

My local dealer was Eliminator dealer before going outta business. He had a 33 and then went to a 30 as personal/demo boat. He said the 33 was much better riding, especially in bigger water. I think it ran about 103 with 500efi's.

the 30 flies stern heavy in rough water, go bigger or stick with a single engine boat.

We had a 02 30 daytona with 500 efis and loved it. It would run 104 any day. On good days with light fuel and some wind chop it would run 108.

Can't speak for the big boats but I have an ICC 25 daytona with an ilmor 625. Best boat I have ever owned. 90+ very little upkeep.

I'll make you a smokin deal.

Not a fan of Ilmor engines.
I have made up my mind. I am looking for a 27 daytona with a big block Chevy.
