Default Shootout timing/Speed tracking

Anybody know if they have changed the speed tracking for the shootout this year. I know it was a heated topic after the event last year.

From the Shootout site...

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States and has been voted as the number 1 boat race/shootout in the Country by the Powerboat Magazine Readers for the last two years. It has also been listed by Powerboat Magazine as one of the 8 "must see" boating events. Official speeds at the New Captain Ron's course have hit 208 mph each of the last two years, with claims that these speeds may have reached an even higher number. New radar guns for 2012 may provide some validity to these claims.

I know there has been some testing done on the guns in the last week or so.

Yes, I have been hot lapping my boat at 200mph the past few days for accurate gun calibrations...

j/k - I hope things are accurate for all the big number boats. Good luck to all and everyone stay safe.

I asked because I don't care how fast any given boat is, just that the speed clocked is accurate. There has always been a discrepancy between gps and radar. I know there will always be a slight difference, but it should be minimal.
