Enough of them are to warrant the statement. They even advertise it on TV.

I disagree. I had two DUI cases and one Superior Court criminal case today, I am the guy you call when the sh*t hits the fan. I have no problem with advertising. I do not do Personal Injury.

And I may be retained by a fellow boater due to am allegation of BUI by the US Coast Guard in New Jersey, that recently happened.

So there it is, my not so humble and shameless self promotion....

I am gald no one was seriously hurt in the Fountain at LOTO...

You missed one - if he had been driving an Outerlimits, it would be the hull design's fault!!!

(but the women would have been even hotter!!!)

theres dirty people everywhere, whether they are cops, people on the street or people at McDonalds, lawyers are no different except at times they get paid more to do it. Also lawyers are the reason behind me having to look at a warrning label on everything from a coffee cup to that nasty sticker on my visor. They have also caused higher rates on insurance and allow criminals that deserve to be behind bars to go free off technicalities. But if **** hit the fan as said before you bet I've had one.

I really have no qualm with what lawyers make as they put in the time to go to law school one deserves the fat paycheck. But a little perspective. I paid my real estate lawyers 500 bucks to close on my sold house and 500 on the new house. The guy that bought my house was a lawyer just not a real estate lawyer and I asked him how long it took him to go over things he said he probably spent maybe an hour on it. But I still thought he was kind of stupid as I have title insurance and always have somebody to bring to court if something came up vs he can only blame himself, lol

500 + replies... resulting in some lawyer discussion

3 simple rules :

1. Powerboat's are not toys.
2. Being able to buy one doesn't mean you are responsable enough to use it.
3. Being able to buy one doesn't mean you are able to handle it.

I have heard your anti-lawyer pitch on OSO more than once, I get it you are not a fan of lawyers. Not mad at ya at all. The truth is a realtive term depending on the eyes of the beholder....
