Money can buy the Tres Martin class; had he taken it he'd at least learned the cause of what looks like a classic trip, stuff and hook and the related preventative measures. I'd bet this video ends up in his class. They were lucky the results weren't more serious.

I don't know how she didn't get her teeth knocked out, or maybe she did ? The guy sitting on the engine hatch in the back is lucky he stood up in time ....

Hopefully the padding took most of the impact. I think I would have kept that video to myself...

The Lake of the Ozarks is very difficult to boat at and crazy stuff happens here. The waves are so big and they come from every direction and double up all the time making them very unpredictable. People just don't understand till they get here. Some people we know were up here from TX and stuffed their 36' concept center console. Tore up the boat and sent a couple of them to the hospital with minor injuries. They were ultra experienced boaters. Driving here is a whole different world. I have stuffed my boat more than once. We stuffed the 38' donzi zr last year. On Saturday leaving the shootout we had a wave come halfway up the sun pad on the 42' searay.

Check out this video of leaving the shoot out that someone posted on you tube.

This is the craziest boating day of the year. It did not help that a storm rolled in and chased thousands of boats out at once.
Holy cow! that place does look like a washing machine! THROTTLE BACK!

Glad everyone is okay.
The first thing I thought when I saw him clumsily jamming the stick both ways was that he didn't seem to have good left hand throttling skills.

See ya,

Damn lucky for all of them.

If you watch frame to frame, the two girls got hit hard and more than once.

Looks like they were completely air borne here and way outta control. Hope they all learned their lesson.

I want to see the rest of the video (after the incident) where they get up.

Me too. I was wondering if the younger girl in the middle was knocked out or if she was able to get up. She really hit the side very hard. I'm glad she's ok, and thankfully she didn't get thrown out of the boat. Wow, that could've been very bad.... The other lady in the yellow was doing her best to hang on for a minute, but the impact was just way to violent... Wow, the driver just fell super fast, unreal to watch that..
