.
very nice.
looks like the two carbon paddles are geared in tandem to drive the single fly-by-wire device (bottom pic) to control the throttle?
on the third pic, what does the device with 6 nipples do? Does it equalize and direct the hydraulic flow?

You are correct the carbon paddles are geared together to rotate the throttle pot which is hard wired to the engine ecu. The black device only has 4 NIPPLES… the balance must be on the calendar the other two fittings are for adjusting the parameters of the valve and also to release the pressure in the system should the power steering pump ever fail. as i can then drive it home with manual steering.

Hi All,
Just finished the fabrication of the automatic vent tube, this and all the steering parts are now being packed ready for our next adventure which starts on sunday, really looking forward to leaving cold wet England for some more Florida sunshine

Hi All,
Settling in nicely to this lovely warm weather, didn't suffer too bad from jet lag this time so was able to start work on Monday. Fitted the automatic vent tube first this opens as you trim in and is closed at your high speed running trim, then i moved on to the steering system, most of which is now fitted. Tomorrow i will build the wiring harness between the throttle paddles and the engine ECU with any luck i might get the motor flashed up and give it all a static run What a pleasure it is to run out of Blue Octane's facilities. We arrived Sunday evening to be greeted by Pat washing our truck, can't think of a beter place to keep our toys

This a great thread Peter. Keep the pics coming. Will the boat ever see Britain's waters?? You should try to get OL to send it over for the Venture cup as a advertising tool for them in the dry pits although I would love to see it in the water also. I believe they are entering two boats from what I remember seeing on the venture cup website. Enjoy the weather and boating in Fla.

Thanks Wobble and Itspeanut,
I don't think the boat will ever go to England in my ownership as we enjoy boating in the nice warm weather way too much… but i am hoping to have red Cheetah finished for the venture cup so we can go and spectate.
