Insurance for them denied the claim, stating they showed no negligence, but I was free to pursue any and all legal avenues.

Almost 5k later...not to mention the 80k plus in the claim plus Easter to now loss in rental income.....beyond a provable 100k...

I am in litigation. I have to sue....which has been filed and is a matter of public record.

I am within a week a them having to respond to the suit. The clock is ticking on six months plus...and I have no idea when the light at the end of the tunnel will peek through the darkness.

Please, keep the faith that the little guy can win against the big dawg. As you saw, this is no situation where some dum azz dropped hot coffee in their lap..."

Aside from a rant...which I would love to stand on a box and rally, but my main interest is to once again thank you all for the support, update the status to my fellow members, and remind you all that you can be presented with significant loss by no fault of your own.
