Default Kool Aid in or out?

496 cooling, question came up, after filling system with pink anti-freeze, should you pressure the system up and drop the anti-freeze back out?

It has anticorrosive properties. If you drain it, you leave the passages open to collect ambient moisture and of course air circulating; which is the recipe for rust & corrosion.

That was my vote, had my mechanic suggest pushing it out. I have always left it in the system.
