I spoke with Bob in Miami a few years ago and he said he would love to have the Scout molds back. I sold my restored Scout a few years ago, and I look forward to seeing a Center Console model..
What type of glass and resin ? Use of wood ?

Just that it will be comparable to other boats in it's category. As far as your other question, my area of expertise is the United States Air Force, Aircraft Maintenance of 25 yrs.
I am consulting with Bob Saccenti on building the boat and following all the marine safety and structural guidelines set by the US Coast Guard.

From what I've seen of these boats making an I/0 would be a pain....
You'd lose most if not all of the back seat, & have major hatch clearance issues to work around. If you look in the pic I posted, towards the rear of the boat there's not too much freeboard......(less than a sm sutphen, scarab, etc.)
So I'm thinking to get a motor back in there, set it to a good height....you'd be left with about 1/2 the height of the engine you'd need to build a hatch over. I Think that would kill the look.
It would be fun though!
