Thumbs up Drambuie

It's a nice, very clean boat. It came out of MI on trade for another MTI. "ALOT" of boat for the money!!!!! The boat can be converted to a 5 seater for 45K. The only thing the boat will need in the near future is new fuel bladders. If you opened up to 5 seater, I would put aluminum tanks in it.

This would be a great boat to buy as a RACE BOAT and repower it for the new Supercat class!

that's what I thought about doing (but I know nothing about racing). Is the class for 525hp?

Do you think the engines in it would bring enough to pay for the new (referbished) ones? If they would I would be interested in getting something going.

This boat would fit great, the new class is around 700HP per side. I hould think you could sell the current motors and get a set of the new race motors pretty even up....

As always, great shots!! That boat sure would turn heads anywhere it goes. Does it have enough room to strap a cooler to the roof?

this boat would not be remotely competitive in that class. its to tall, to heavy and to slow to compete in that class. look at the boat that replaced this one now "warcry" and it was half a lap behind the skaters. i don't know people are saying this boat is worth so much when no used boat is worth anything these days and used race boats are worth even less. its a realistic 5 figure boat. 45k to convert? i'd say jump and jump fast if that were the case.

Less than 9500 dry with all the hardware.

Now I have not driven any other 42 MTI's but the employee I had that would always run with me has driven both the Mercedes Boat (Gino's rig) and the first Corvette MTI (the Red one) and mentions that DOI feels a LOT lighter regarding responsiveness and running in general.
