Why do boat engines have two blowers and why don't race cars or super street races have that intake setup? I'm new to all this. I have one more ? Why do all header joints have a rubber hose in the joints. What is the purpose?

the rubber hose is used to transfer the jacketed water from the header to the tail pipe.

I think height has a lot to do with the two blower setup you don't necessarily need to cut scoops in valuable sun pad space. Youre talking the quad rotor Whipple setup like on 1075's?
