Lol, I would definitely walk from the bridge to the street fair, but only in April.... Not July..... Nothing like walking 3 miles in 110+ heat..

I asked in the other Desert Storm thread if it would be a waste of time to go as a spectator and it sounds like alot of guys do just that. I wouldnt go with intentions of being a boat bum, but if a unique situation would arise I would certainly be the best bum I could be to help out or chip in.

Frankly, I wouldn't stay anywhere but the Nautical if you expect to walk there. The walk will be long...You WILL lose your buzz by the time you get there...Cab it and stay at one of the cheap hotels. Cab it and rent a house. Or stay at the Nautical.
The only two places on land that you'll want to be is the stret party thursday which it up the road a few blocks from the London Bridge resort. And The Nautical which is the home of the Poker Run and has the Poker Run Village, all the boats coming and going, the bars, the pool, etc. etc.
On water, you'll want to get to Havasu Springs for lunch, The channel for people watching and Pirates Cove up river for lunch and people watching.
You want pics....I have a few
