Thanks for the information, thats what I was looking for.

The 32 has a smaller cockpit than my 25 did!! I know that for sure! The 35's are out of my price range unless they are just junk! These two are the cleanest that I have found yet, just having a hard time picking between the two.

For big, high hp cats, yes.

But our 27 single engine 525 cat insures for less than 1,200 per year.

Not bad at all. Wonder if that would be the same here in FL by chance?

It's the 100mph mark you have to be concerned about. I know a stock 27 single 525 cat will not do 100.

J has a good point. What is your budget anyway? If you shop hard enough you may not even bother with your two choices. I thought I was doing to get a 28 Sunny or Nordic. Then I found a 32 Sunny Dominator with twins and couldn't be happier I made the jump for the same cash.

I like both the formula 292 and the sunny 32 but they are made out of gold and are out of my price range of under 47k. If they are in my range they tend to be junk... I have been looking since last august and have been cross country on this search. I have looked at all the options... Like I said it is between these two since they are the cleanest I have found and both the wife and I agree on them...

There are a lot of nice boats that you should be able to buy for under 47k. There is a nice 35 fountain in Vegas for around 42. Also a 33 outlaw at performance boat center in the ozarks. Both boats are very clean and would be a lot more accommodating.

I've owned a '98 29' Fountain (single). I liked it until I got into 29-30 Bajas. As I started having kids I prefered the Bajas for the room over the speed of the Fountain. Much larger boats for being the same size if you know what I mean. Single 29' has an advantage that most other don't. You can trailer it easily with a 1/2 ton vehicle.

I would think the Donzi would be better down the road for resale. Not many folks like the Fountain in a twin application.

My parents recently sold a 27 ZX. Not apples to apples, but it was the "smallest" 27' boat I've ever seen. Tight quarters everywhere except the bildge.

Both are good boats.

I was in your place and budget a few years ago when I bought my 342. I was between the 342 and 33 OL. Wherever I could find the best deal at the time.

Sorry, got some down time at work and thought I'd ramble a bit

You would think there would be... That 35 is a 1993! I don't feel that 42k for a 93 flat bottom is a good deal... That 33 isn't bad but Im not a fan of the graphics, the 4 bolsters, or the blue motors.
