Is it OK to lower floats in a blower motor?

If I remember correct with a procharger your fuel presure should go up two psi for ever pound of boost it goes up. When I had one it was set at 7 psi at idle and I ran the SX pump and mallory fuel presure req. which was referenced to the carb. My fuel presure went up with boost.

Fuel pressure only increases 1 for 1. If starting at 5 psi, & boost in box goes to 5psi then fuel pressure at regulator is 10 psi. Carb floats would only see 5 psi.

Thanks for all the responses.
The set up was done professonally and fuel pressure is boost referenced. I had the same set up in my 25' checkmate, single engine of course. I had an incident with the original motor and bought the 502 crate and my truck mechanic did the swap. When he checked the floats he said they were real low so he raised them. After that I had the same problem I do now. If I remember correctly that motor's fuel pressure was set @ 6 lbs @ idle, not the 8 I have now.
I am just wondering if I lower the floats slightly if that would stop the flooding without starving the motor of fuel. There are "baffles" in the carbs now.
