thanks OSO friends from BGIII
Boat finally went in the water tonight. Everything went great.
6 mph faster on speedo. Would like to give a sincere thanks to a few people for their help over the past few months.
Crazyhorse - Several trips to my house to assemble engine, gave tons of advice and answered lots of questions, set me up with an excellent machine shop, and an engine that runs like a watch (a loud bad ass watch). Thanks alot, now I need a new prop!
Tinkerboater - bore notched my block and took better part of long evening to getting motor aligned, (didn't know one could get that far out of alignment), hooked me up w/ John Lembreski(sp) @ Pole Barn Engines and got a good deal on Lightning headers.
Waterfoul - helped teardown engine and gave me some miscellaneous parts and pieces to help make everything come together.
Goodfella - helped me recover from my outdrive nightmare w/ a local guy. Thanks for the new drive, mufflers, and advice. Drive is most excellent, hope to install mufflers Friday.
Playn - windshield pieces and hardware, really appreciate it and hope to see you in Grand Haven yet this summer.
Kaama - hooked me up w/ an awesome camshaft from his cousin.
I know I probably forgot somebody who helped me out, I apologize if I did.

Another one in the water!!! Way to go!!! I am glad you are up and running. I have been working my azz off every evening until I can not see any more (from being so tired) to get mine done. Hope to go to prime this weekend or at the latest the very beginning of next week

Went out again tonight up to Bear Lake Tavern, got about 8 hours on it now. Everything still going good, tried to install mufflers tonight but holes didn't line up w/ existing ones. Take care of that tommorrow morning w/ proper tools. Heading up to Muskegon again tommorrow if the weather is nice. 25 pitch 4 blade is waaay more than I'll need, but thanks for the offer.

Great news!!! It's Monday morning and I have no plans to fix anything this week. Weekend went great, had the boat out Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Learned how to drive in snotty water a little bit, what a blast! Need to do a little carb tuning w/ Crazyhorse and maybe try a couple different props but other than that, this weekend made up for being drydocked for the past month.
P.S. - the Waterfoul ran hard and strong all weekend too
