It had a zr48 badge on the side. I'm pretty sure it was the zr boat. But like I mentioned I'm sure they weren't at the Tickfaw 200. Maybe they got there weeks mixed up or the driver is late. :-)

Two guesses.

1) The old owner kept it for Black Diamond.

2) The new owner uses the aluminum trailer to dunk the boat when near salt or a short ramp.

both boats were here for Tickfaw along with the huntress. not sure why they swap trailers.

I didn't see the zr boat last weekend. Only big Mti I saw was the phantom.

The rear lights on the new one have a more squared look to mimic the new C7. The owner must have some strong inside ties to GM as the boat had to have been designed before Chevrolet showed the C7 to the public. The ZR boat has the traditional round Corvette rear lights.
