Best hub and prop for alpha?

I unfortunately am in a lake that has a max depth of about 14ft. Most of the time im around 5ft. So that's the only reason I want to stick with aluminum. Are 4 blade props better then 3 or are they more of a gimmick? I have heard people love them and hate them.
