1.35 gear ratio and props are 16.8 diameter, 38 pitch and 18 rake. The boat runs 125. We tend to keep it 95 mph around 4,000 rpm.

Is that the 40 I take it? Or the 36... Stock 700s, what's the rpm @ 125?

That's the 2009 40 MTI five seater with 700's in stock form, I will have to climb back in the boat and see what the RPM was at.

Boat is awesome! It runs 150 all day, 157 max so far with good conditions. New interior this winter, looks fantastic!

I am putting together a new one soon so it is actually up for sale! She is a beautiful machine!

Had a 32 Skater with 525's and sixes. It was boring. Too sluggish. Even the 700 MTI's I have been in feel too slow and sluggish. The advise given here has been excellent. A 36 Nortech with Bravos is a really bad idea. Cats are not happy unless you run over 90 mph. A better setup would be 850-1000 hp a side. Number Six drives only.

I can write a policy for a first time cat owner with vee bottom experience as long as the speed is not over 130 mph and the TRES MARTIN coures is taken.

It is indeed stunning. Stopped us in our tracks last year at SOTPR at H. Toad.

It sure is hard to read "fresh water" in the ad of a boat with FL numbers on it.
