Verado 350 sci - AKI vs RON octane
Hi,
My vrod 350 sci require 91 AKI (ron plus mon /2) in US, which is 95 RON if I am correct. But in the user manual it states 96 RON... Due to that I run 98 RON so be safe. There is no 96 RON fuel in Norway. Only 95 RON and 98 RON.
What is correct?
Cheeerrs ! Toffen

The 350 SCi needs the best pump gas you can find... There is no other answer..
The 350 does not have a knock sensor to detune the engine like the 300 does. You'll be buying a powerhead if you put low octane fuel in them....I assure you...
The 350s also don't like to be lugged.. Make sure you are propped for full 67-6800 rpm. If the boat wont pull the rpm the way you are loaded you ned to back off the throttle. Don't leave it pinned......or you'll be buying a powerhead...
Do I sound like Jeff Foxworthy?
