You never get the same sensation over video as you do in person... especially from inside the boat or car compared to experiencing it in person. It's not even close.
I would be chitting bricks running over 200mph on water. Granted flat water isn't nearly as scary, but that's still insane running those speeds on a dynamic surface in a hull design that's known to violently flip at high speeds! That takes balls of steel...

I REALLY wanted to see Recycler III run over 200! With twin V-16s and running over 3400HP per side, it was possible. Just didn't get her dialed in I guess. First run sounded pretty bad with a loud POP near the end of the run!

I agree Tank. I dont think a video of my way doing 80 would look any different. The true challenge would be to keep the camera stationary and then trying to take a picture of it. I guess we will leave that one to Jayboat.

They barely got it rigged to make the event. Should run much better next year.
