I am amazed anyone here doesn't know who Brownie is!!
Many others that really know him could give you much more info, but this small paragraph on Charlie's Banana Boat website should tell you all you need to know.
"Another protégé of Don Aronow, going all the way back to the original Donzi days, is Allan Brown, better known to the marine world as Brownie . He Goes to bed Early, But gets up Early as well...If you called him 7:00-7:30ish AM I'm sure you'd get him..He works with Harry Shoell (Another Boat Expert) I don't think there are any more Knowledgeable boat people on the planet, Whether it be towing, building or just boating. His level of common sense usually exceeds everyone in the room...
