Loose the part that was cut , Add a new transom and throw a couple of outboards on it . Problem solved ! You'll have a 30' outboard Hustler

Looking at the pics again, you could jack up the back end a couple inches; fill in the bottom with some JB Waterweld, and you'd have a one of a kind 40 Hustler step-bottom.

correct, that boat was recovered with engines still mounted and were all 3 started and videoed before the 1st auction.
