Just FYI....the World Championships in Ocean City this year, solid 5-7 on the back stretch..proper offshore racing. Class 3, 95MPH bracket. A 38 fountain raceboat led the whole race, green to checkered. With 525s....oh btw... a 41 Apache is in that class. Granted, the Apache didnt finish. But still.
Im good friends with both teams, all very nice and very talented people. The driver in the Apache said simply, "All the ground we made up in the turns, we lost on the straights. That Fountain was faster"

In the pleasure boat world, if its too rough for the fountain to be fun, its too rough for the Cig too. Just how it is.
Id be THRILLED to own either!
Good luck with your purchase

While this is funny, Joseph...it's not entirely true...AT has won a race or two...and the twin 1000 hp #6 37 is sitting in the shop down there awaiting re-rig...

I really should participate in this fun...I think I'll run out to the shop and make some popcorn in the microwave of the boat....
