Default Image of the Week; Miss Mary Mac's Aerial Attack

Miss Mary Mac soared to new heights during yesterday's OPA World Championships. http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...-aerial-attack.

Wow. Beyond that, in the words of the late Tom Newby, I got nothing. Nice work, Tim Sharkey.

I actually just swapped out the original shot. In sorting tonight, Tim found one of Miss Mary Mac flying even higher.

It's worth another look. Damn.

i was watching the results of this race closely. after seeing turbine qatar 96 walk away from the mercury 1650s in clearwater, i was skeptical MG could take down a similar powered turbine in marymac. curious what was the science/technique behind the less powerful boat winning? did the victory hull have an advantage in ocean city rough water? was it the cornering edge marc granet had spoken of with mg?

I would say the ability to turn harder and the rough water helps to equalize he top speeds
