I'm sad to say its not! I was there the final day it was open fall of '85 (i was 5). Still remember they had bumper boats and I thought I that was amazing! It got bulldozed and turned into condos. The lake is super yuppified now. All the old cottages are getting bull dozed and huge summer homes are going up. I remember Denny wegmans place used to be the "shooter" place. Now it looks like every other cottage there. The water police are jerks and there is a 45mph limit.

Pretty weak. I need to travel more!

Clinton Lake - Weldon, IL (Home port)
LOTO - to the end of every arm except the Osage (only up to the 47MM)
Illinois River - between MM's 80 (LaGrange) and 231 (Starved Rock)
Lake Shelbyville, Sullivan, IL
Lake Sara - Effingham, IL
Rend Lake - Benton, IL

Bucket List: Lake Michigan/Chicago River, Cumberland

Thats the water park. The amusement park closed in '85. The water park did go out of business shortly after opening. It was then sold to the owner of Bristol Mountain (local ski area) for pennies on the dollar. I believe he is still the owner and it was open this summer.

Hey In2Deep, looks like you got me with LOTO and Lake Travis but otherwise we are boating in the same areas. Although I no longer have my Fountain (28 twin Warlock Cat now), I still have an indoor storage garage in Acton. Still live in the same area?
