Default 525sc upgrades???

Looking to get some more power out of the motors with reliability in the mix. Had the lower end done over the summer. new cam rods block etc. Still got the bravo xr's. So I may be limited. Suggestions??? (Intercoolers, bigger blower w dual carb set up)

Did you keep the comp ratio stock at 7.5:1??? If so, you can easily change to smaller top pullies and bump the boost up to 7# or more, that is if you can find some smaller pullies.
Switching to a 250 blower will also add some HP and you could run about 7# of boost. You can still run the single Dominator carb.

Did you change/upgrade the cams?????

The XR drive will be fine as long as you treat it decent. I had almost 300hrs on my Imco upper and stock Bravo lower behind my hopped up 525SC making around 575 hp and it was still going strong.

The bottom end is plenty strong enough for 650hp+.

Go with bigger blowers. 420's, 8-71's, etc.
