A driveline kit with no extension box retails for $7356. Plug-in w/o extension box is $10,056. The extension boxes add $4,173 each.

To put it in perspective the NXT transmission from Mercury has a list price of $9,276. And they are expensive to repair. Mercury is very proud of the components.

Our kit is very complete - includes:

• BAM NEXT Tailstock (close coupled kits)
Billet aluminum tailstock to couple out CYBORG transmission the the NXT input shaft. (This is not required on a driveline transmission.)

• Special Cyborg 1500
Has relocated oil inlet (plug in only)
Includes mounting hardware

• Transom extension box
6” setback to accommodate transmission
Includes mounting hardware, water fitting extension.
Inner transom plate

• Oil cooler
9” bundle (is longer) oil cooler
Hose and necessary fittings.

• Billet linkage kit
Allows cable to come from either side

• HD & blueprinted drive plate
Heavy duty drive plate qualified for run out.

• Flywheel housing
Special flywheel housing to use bottom mount starter and retain engine oil cooler location

That is one of my friend's boat in the install pic. (I don't know if it is cool or crazy that I can identify his boat from that pic but hey!)
They are running very strong right now and holding up well!

Brand X maintains that boat and I highly recommend them for this type (or any type) of upgrades and service. They are top notch.

Also, according to my friends, Bam has been very good with their warranties.

I'll see if I can find some pics of the actual install.
Beautiful work.

One thing that was done recently which I'm questioning was that Doug Valentine removed the shift anticipators from all 3 motors. He claims that Mercury Racing advised him to do this but when shifting out of gear it would feel like a grinding in the shifter. My question is; would it make sense/ be possible to swap all 3 out to number 6 transmissions? If so, what is the cost on them? I know Bam has the cyborg transmissions but what other options do we have? And what's everyone's thoughts on not having the shift anticipators? Trying to get this running again by New Years for an event if possible.

Did you ever figure out what caused yours to fail like that and crack the housing? Mine just did the same thing.
